Job summary

Fallingwater Café, operated by Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, seeks a part-time Culinary Team Member to assist with food prep, production, and service for daily operations and special events. The position opens and closes the kitchen, maintains cleanliness, and adheres to safety standards.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the role requires early mornings, weekends, and holiday availability, as well as experience in a restaurant kitchen and knowledge of food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant kitchen.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Culinary school degree or professional training preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and cooking for daily Fallingwater Café and events.
• Open and close the kitchen; complete end-of-shift duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper food storage; follow safety guidelines.
• Support service with timely food preparation and coordination with FOH.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing products.
• Support cost containment and sustainability efforts.
