NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. The position is part-time, 30 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM – 2:15 PM. Comps- $18.75/hr.

Summary: Coordinates menus and maintains kitchen inventory. Handles food properly in compliance with health safety. Prepares food for individuals receiving services. Ensures cooking equipment is in good order.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months related experience.
• Certificates, licenses, and registrations: None required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates menus and maintains kitchen inventory.
• Handles food properly in compliance with health safety.
• Prepares food for individuals receiving services.
• Ensures cooking equipment is in good order.
• Reviews menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.
• Prepares, seasons and cooks food.
• Carves portions of meat, fish or fowl for individual servings.
• Inspects food storage and directs sanitary maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities.
• Oversees and coordinates activities of kitchen workers preparing and cooking foods.
• Plans and reviews menus.
• Determines food quantities, labor and overhead costs.
• May participate in food preparation.
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.
