Job summary

SUNY Erie Community College invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in Hospitality Management at the North Campus in Williamsville/Buffalo area. The role focuses on teaching courses, developing lesson plans, and guiding student outcomes while upholding college policies and inclusive practices.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in a relevant field (ACF certification desired) and the ability to manage records and deliver engaging instruction in a diverse student environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate area with an AOS or AAS in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Fine Arts and Hospitality.
• Nutrition background and ACF Certification at the Sous Chef or Pastry Chef Level or above is desired but not required.
• Equivalent experience in high-level professional kitchens, bakeshops, restaurants, or appropriate higher education institutions.

• Prepares course syllabi and outcomes.
• Encourages student participation and provides learning materials.
• Evaluates students’ performance based on course learning outcomes.
