Job summary

American Senior Communities, LLC is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide in Fort Wayne, Indiana to assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Shift options include 6a-2p and 2p-8p, with the ASC Team guiding daily operations.

You will support resident dining by preparing and portioning meals, setting up service areas, and collaborating with culinary leaders to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (certifications can be earned while employed with ASC).

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
