Job summary

Sage Bluff Health & Rehab in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide to assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area for residents.

You will partner with culinary leaders to meet dietary needs, portion meals, set up trays, and support the serving line. This role offers part-time shifts (6a-2p or 2p-8p) and a chance to grow within a supportive senior care team.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace, and clean equipment as needed.
