Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indiana is hiring a Culinary Aide at Westview Nursing & Rehab to support meal prep, service, and a clean, safe dining environment for residents. This full-time role offers opportunities to grow within ASC's dining team.

You will collaborate with culinary leaders, assist with menu items and resident diets, set up service areas, and help maintain sanitation standards while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling.
• Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience.
• Required: Commitment to customer service.
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with the culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal prep and portions according to menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Support service staff with clearing soiled trays and washing dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace and equipment.
• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
