Job summary

American Senior Communities, LLC in Monticello, IN is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide for evening shifts. You will assist with meal prep and service ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious meals and a clean workspace.

You will collaborate with culinary leaders, follow menus and dietary requirements, set up for service, and help with tray assembly and dishwashing. Prior sanitation certification preferred; strong customer service and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling Certification (state/federal rules may apply).
• Required: Commitment to customer service.
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace; clean equipment as needed.
