Job summary

CarePoint Response in Baltimore is seeking an Intake & Admissions Specialist to support referral, intake, and admissions for the Crisis Residential Unit and Detox services. The role acts as primary contact for referrals, conducts intake screenings, coordinates with internal teams, and maintains accurate documentation with professionalism and confidentiality.

The position is part-time, 10AM-6PM, with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years working within behavioral health, healthcare, or public health systems preferred.
• High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage referral processes for CRU/Detox during assigned shift.
• Receive, track, and respond to referrals from hospitals and providers.
• Conduct intake screenings via phone with clients and care partners.
• Verify insurance information as required for intake processing.
• Complete registration and intake documentation in Credible.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and external partners for care coordination.
