Job summary

Professional Transportation Inc. in Roanoke, VA is hiring dependable, part-time Crew Transport Drivers to move railroad crew members between yards, hotels, and other destinations.

You’ll operate a company-provided passenger vehicle and earn $14.00–$15.00 per hour, with shift differential for qualifying shifts. PTI covers fuel costs, provides paid training (no prior professional driving experience required), and offers a flexible part-time schedule with opportunities to grow within the nation’s

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must pass post-offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Be able to arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport railroad crew members.
• Provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience.
• Communicate with the PTI Command Center.
• Help keep trips moving efficiently and on time.
• Open and close vehicle doors and hatches for passengers.
• Inspect the vehicle and report any concerns.
