Job summary

Professional Transportation Inc. in Richmond, Virginia is hiring part-time crew transport drivers to move railroad crew members between yards, hotels, and other destinations.

You will drive a company-provided passenger vehicle, complete trips of varying length, and ensure safety and comfort for passengers. No professional driving experience required for training; PTI provides vehicle, fuel, and instruction.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must pass post-offer drug screen, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Be able to arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport railroad crew members.
• Provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience.
• Communicate with the PTI Command Center.
• Help keep trips moving efficiently and on time.
• Open and close vehicle doors and hatches for passengers.
• Inspect the vehicle and report any concerns.
