Job summary

Professional Transportation Inc. in Wilmington, NC is hiring part-time crew transport drivers. You’ll operate a company vehicle to transport railroad crew members between yards, hotels, and other destinations.

This is a flexible, part-time driving role that pays $14.00–$15.00 an hour and does not require a commercial driver’s license. PTI provides the vehicle and fuel, offers paid training, and supports multiple health insurance plans, a 401(k), and paid vacation time.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must pass post-offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.
• Be able to arrive at the branch location within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport railroad crew members.
• Provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience.
• Communicate with the PTI Command Center.
• Help keep trips moving efficiently and on time.
• Open and close vehicle doors and hatches for passengers.
• Inspect the vehicle and report any concerns.
