Reeder Distributors is seeking a part-time Credit Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role gathers, verifies, and compiles information for new and existing customer credit reviews to evaluate creditworthiness and mitigate financial risk.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate with customers, credit references, and internal teams. This role emphasizes process and documentation rather than final credit approval.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in credit analysis or related finance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gather and verify information for customer credit reviews.
• Complete the Credit Review Matrix accurately and timely.
• Communicate with customers and credit references to obtain required information.
• Prepare credit analyses and present recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain and organize customer credit files for review by the Credit Manager.
• Support collection strategies for high-risk or past-due accounts.
