Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a part-time Bakery Decorator to plan and decorate bakery products and support daily bakery operations. You will assist with decorating cakes, matching icing colors, and fulfilling customer requests while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years of age to operate equipment, and Food Handler certification. Decorator certification is a plus; flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED; six+ months related experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to operate or clean equipment.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Decorator certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, icing, and decorates cakes and other baked goods for display or customer requests.
• Traces and copies drawings onto cakes by using a template or making free-hand sketches.
• Identifies, matches, and blends icing colors.
• Selects decorating materials and tools to complete requests.
• Cleans, assembles, and prepares equipment; ensures safety and order.
