Job summary

College of the Mainland invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor - CE Allied Health CPR. This part-time exempt staff position teaches CPR courses and aligns with AHA guidelines.

Successful candidates will hold current CPR Instructor Certification and demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong communication with students and staff. The role focuses on coordinating schedules with the CPR Training Center Coordinator, maintaining certifications, and delivering high-quality CPR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of CPR teaching experience.
• Current CPR Instructor Certification.
• Principles and practices of teaching.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with students, coworkers, supervisor, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CPR classes as a CPR Instructor.
• Coordinate with the CPR Training Center Coordinator to develop and adhere to a training schedule.
• Adhere to AHA Guidelines.
• Training Center Faculty appointment will also require monitoring of other instructors as needed.
