Job summary

Rutgers University’s Professional Science Masters program invites applications for Course Assistants (Project Mentors) for the Spring 2027 term. Successful candidates will support faculty in evaluating student progress, provide feedback on work and presentations, and help ensure learning objectives are met while monitoring project timelines.

Position is part-time and offers a chance to contribute to student success within the Master of Business & Science framework and related coursework.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a teaching/course assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assisting faculty with evaluating student progress and performance.
• Provide constructive feedback on their work, presentations, or prototypes.
• Help assess the achievement of learning objectives and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Monitors the progress of student projects, ensuring they stay on track and meet established timelines.
• Provides guidance and support to students, collaborates with instructors to ensure students complete their projects successfully.
