Rutgers University the Professional Science Masters program invites applications for Course Support (Course Assistants) for the Summer 2026 term. Successful candidates will assist faculty with courses, attend meetings, and prepare course materials as directed by instructors.

Minimum education is a Master’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a teaching/course assistant.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a teaching/course assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty with course(s); may include traditional lecture, hybrid, and/or fully online courses and LMS software assistance.
• Attend all assigned course meetings as directed by the faculty member.
• Prepare course materials (syllabi, presentations, hand-outs, reading materials, etc.).
• Provide constructive feedback to students and guidance on academic standards.
• Respond to student emails and inquiries and address student concerns.
• Apply innovative educational methodologies.
