Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring a part-time cook to prepare high-quality campus meals in Highland Heights, KY. The role requires weekend shifts with 10:00 am–8:00 pm on Saturdays and 10:00 am–9:00 pm on Sundays, and a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Prior grill cook experience is a plus, with Instapay perks available.

Qualifications

• Prior grill cook experience is required.
• Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays is required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery with correct portions and temps.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper storage of foods and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist with ordering, receiving and inventory when needed.
• Follow HACCP standards and company safety policies.
