Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking dedicated staff to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and safety standards. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $24.40 per hour and a mix of full-time and part-time schedules; weekends, nights, and holidays may be required.

Applicants should have prior food service, kitchen, scratch/batch cooking, and line cooking experience, with a commitment to safe food handling and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior food service, kitchen, scratch/batch cooking and line cooking experience required.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and schedules.
• Ensures proper portioning, serving temperatures and plate presentation.
• Cleans and secures kitchen areas and equipment after service.
• Assists with inventory, ordering and receiving of supplies as needed.
• Keeps records related to service periods and maintains safety standards.
