• Experience as a cook in a restaurant, senior living, healthcare, country club, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Experience with short-order, batch cooking, buffet production, or restaurant-style service preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Weekend availability, especially Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items for restaurant-style dinner service
• Assist with production and execution of Sunday brunch buffet
• Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely, safe, and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep, and storage areas
• Label, store, and rotate food using FIFO
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Work with servers, utility staff, and dining leadership
• Help with prep, line setup, service, and breakdown
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with residents, guests, and coworkers
