Sanctuary of Holy Cross is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate prepares nutritious, appealing meals for residents and ensures food safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with the Dietary Manager to plan meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Experience in residential or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, nutrition and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is cooked and served at safe temperatures per Serve Safe standards.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen adhering to health regulations.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager to plan menus meeting nutritional needs.
• Monitor inventory, assist with food ordering and waste management.
