You will follow recipes, prep and plate meals, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling procedures is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; early morning, daytime, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts required.
• Ability to follow recipes and produce food in large quantities required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. throughout shift, occasionally 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare attractive, high-quality entrees, soups, and other dishes in appropriate amounts by following or creating recipes.
• Prep, cook, taste, and season every dish prior to serving.
• Weigh, label, and record product information accurately.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation per Health Department standards.
• Monitor temperatures and manage food storage and rotation to minimize waste.
• Receive and stock deliveries and assist with dishwashing as needed.
