Job summary

Montana State University’s Culinary Services is hiring motivated team members for a part-time role in the Bozeman area. The position offers up to 16 hours per week and pays $23.00 per hour, with FLSA non-exempt status. This is a classified hourly appointment within the Culinary Services Administration division.

Duties include preparing and serving foods in display and prep areas, assisting with inventory, and ensuring sanitation per FDA guidelines. Customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic food handling or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work in display cooking areas and prep stations to prepare and serve recipes.
• Interact with customers professionally and ensure appealing presentation.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and FDA codes; assist with inventory and waste control.
• Assist with leading and training student and temporary employees.
