Job summary

Azalea Health & Rehab is hiring a part-time kitchen staff member to prepare meals according to dietician-approved menus and operate kitchen equipment with a focus on safety and cleanliness. The role supports the dining service for elderly residents in a non-profit setting.

The position offers all shifts, weekly pay, and a benefits package including PTO, vision, 401(k) with match, and more. Training is provided to ensure meals are served timely and per diet orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per menu created by dieticians for each meal of the day.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, steamer.
• Cleans work surfaces after shifts and ensures proper storage of unused foods.
