Qualifications

• Communicates well with associates, patients, family members, and visitors.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods depending on menu created by dieticians for each meal of the day.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, and steamer.
• Cleans work surfaces and stores unused foods after shifts.
• Creates meals appropriate for the elderly and in large quantities.
• Ensures meals are served on time and follows menus and recipes.
• Maintains infection control policies in the work area and keeps equipment clean.
• Assists with substituting diets and processing diet changes as required.
• Promotes the image of the system through servant leadership and open communication.
