Job summary

SodexoMagic is seeking a part-time Cook at Xavier University of Louisiana to prepare and present hot and cold dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events while keeping customer service at the heart of every interaction.

You will work as part of a team, supporting a safe, clean kitchen and flexible shifts. This role offers growth opportunities and a friendly work environment in a university setting.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related kitchen experience is beneficial.
• Must be team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable, and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for multiple meal periods.
• Read and follow basic recipes or directions for various food items.
• May prepare food and serve customers at a la carte or operate a grill station.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
