Job summary

Oak Grove, part of Greencroft Communities, is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our Day shift team in Indiana. You’ll prepare meals from menus, accommodate dietary needs, and keep the kitchen clean and organized while supporting residents with friendly service.

Experience in food service is preferred. A strong focus on food safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting will help you succeed in this role at Oak Grove.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or dietary experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Dependable, team-oriented attitude and a passion for serving others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve appetizing meals according to menus and standardized recipes.
• Accommodate residents’ special diets and dietary needs.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Maintain organized food storage areas and ensure supplies are ready for upcoming meals.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team and other departments to support residents’ needs.
