Job summary

Oak Grove, part of Greencroft Communities, is seeking a Part-Time Cook to prepare meals for residents and follow menus and recipes. You’ll accommodate dietary needs and maintain a clean, safe kitchen in a collaborative environment.

This day-shift role offers competitive pay of $15.76–$20.14 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 403(b) plan with employer match, PTO, and voluntary life insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or dietary experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare foods in large quantities.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve appetizing meals according to menus and standardized recipes.
• Accommodate residents’ special diets and dietary needs.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Maintain organized food storage areas and ensure supplies are ready for upcoming meals.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team and other departments to support residents’ needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous food service or dietary experience preferred.

This is a part-time Day shift position, with specific shifts and hours discussed during the interview process.
