Job summary

Madonna Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care in Salinas, CA, is seeking a part-time kitchen teammate to prepare salads, desserts, and meals under the Culinary Services Director's guidance. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in following menus, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Flexible schedules (6am-2:30pm or 10:30am-6:30pm) with competitive pay of $22–$23 per hour based on experience; first aid certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• May be required to hold First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and culture through positive communication and teamwork.
• Contribute to community relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist in kitchen operations, including preparation of salads, baking desserts, and assembling meals.
• Read production sheets and follow menus and recipes accurately.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and dishwashing machinery; maintain sanitation of ovens, grill, and utensils.
