Job summary

Madonna Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care in Salinas, CA is seeking team members for dining services to deliver courteous meal service and maintain dining area readiness. The role emphasizes hospitality, resident interaction, and teamwork within a compassionate community.

Schedule varies with shifts from 7am-2pm, 9am-4pm, and 1pm-7pm; candidates must have open availability and be prepared to work across dining and kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Open availability due to varying schedule.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve meal orders from residents in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist in setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and ensuring cleanliness and organization before and after meals.
• Able to stand, stoop and bend frequently, lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 50 pounds.
• Possess adequate physical stamina to move freely about the Community and assist residents where needed, including in emergency situations.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal service.
• Ensure all serving areas are stocked with necessary supplies,
• Be adaptable and open to cross-training in various roles within the dining and kitchen areas.
• Withstand heat from cooking area and cold from below-zero freezer
