Job summary

Troon's Oasis Club at Champions Gate in Davenport, FL seeks a driven Part-Time Cook to join our fast-paced hospitality team. Learn and maintain food production standards, expediting orders, and supporting banquet events.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Culinary Degree and 2 years of culinary experience; ServSafe is preferred. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

  • Associates Culinary Degree and 2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SERV Safe Certified preferred (but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Learn and maintain standards in food production and quality.
  • Expedites orders in a timely manner.
  • Practices excellent operational sanitation.
  • Executes scheduled banquet functions.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.
  • Helps reduce loss/waste.
  • Communicates equipment repair needs with the chef.
  • Actively participates in training efforts.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Checks and dates all deliveries received and reports any variances to the chef in charge.
  • Verify that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and clean them daily.
  • Processes inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality production.
  • Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
  • Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.

The Oasis Club at Champions Gate, located in Davenport, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and maintain standards in food production and quality.
