Job summary

Cooritalia, a luxury architectural materials supplier in San Francisco, seeks a detail-oriented Part-Time Controller to manage core financial operations and internal controls. The role offers 15-20 hours per week with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in senior accounting, Accounting Manager, or Controller roles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Google Sheets.
Experience in high-end design/architecture or project-based accounting preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP, job-costing, and foreign currency transactions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Bookkeeper on daily posting, invoicing and payments.
Prepare timely quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) per GAAP.
Monitor cash flow, currency exchange (EUR/USD), and forecast models.
Oversee budget planning and quarterly forecasting; perform variance analysis.
Develop, implement, and enforce internal accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
Contract management and insurance renewals; ensure tax compliance with CPA firms.
