Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Courtesy Officer to help maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at one of our multifamily communities. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to supplement income, build rapport with residents, and enjoy rent discounts while contributing to a safe, friendly living environment.

You will walk the grounds daily, respond to non-emergency needs, assist residents with lockouts, monitor common areas, and report maintenance and safety concerns

Qualifications

• Active or retired law enforcement officer or military background required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain calm and professionalism in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence on the property by walking grounds daily.
• Respond to noise complaints and de-escalate situations professionally.
• Assist residents with lockouts and other non-emergency needs.
• Monitor pools, laundry rooms, and fitness facilities.
• Check lighting and report maintenance needs to management.
• Observe vandalism or suspicious activity and report.
• Support community safety through routine patrols.
