Job summary

Associa in Sandia Park, NM is seeking a part-time Gatehouse Attendant to warmly welcome residents, monitor access, and support daily operations of the community center.

You will greet visitors, check in guests and vendors, perform light cleaning, and assist with basic pool maintenance and parking enforcement as needed. This role requires strong communication and reliable, self-directed work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience with office equipment and computers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with basic computer skills, printers, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, monitor access, and assist with inquiries to ensure a secure environment.
• Check in visitors, guests, and vendors before allowing entry.
• Make daily rounds of the community, including wells and the community center, ensuring safety and reporting concerns and Well alarms.
• Observe the community during rounds to prevent theft, property damage, safety violations, or rule infractions.
• Provide excellent communication and customer service to residents and guests.
• Maintain organization and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Conduct parking and traffic enforcement as needed.
• Open the pool/spa during summer months and perform light cleaning duties.
• Ensure the community center is orderly, including light janitorial tasks (emptying trash, sweeping, wiping counters, restocking supplies).
• Assist with basic pool maintenance, including netting, vacuuming, and related tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
