Job summary

Resource Property Management is seeking a friendly and professional gate attendant to join our residential community team in Saint Petersburg, FL. This role provides concierge-style customer service, monitors entry, identifies residents or bona fide guests, and coordinates guest parking passes.

The position requires alertness, teamwork with the Concierge, Property Manager, Maintenance Team, and Gate Supervisor, and diligent logging of all activities for the Community Association Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and personable customer service.
• Report suspicious behavior to the office or police if necessary.
• Gate personnel alert at all times; identify residents, bona-fide guests, or vendors entering the property.
• Assist residents in emergency situations.
• Keep a daily activity log and report to the Community Association Manager.
• Notify residents when guests arrive; issue guest parking passes with dates and unit numbers.
• Work as a team with the Concierge, Property Manager, Maintenance Team, Gate Supervisor, etc.
• Safely perform essential job functions per RPM policies and handbooks.
• This is a summary; other duties may be assigned by the Board of Directors, Property Manager, or Gate Supervisor.

• Provide friendly, professional, and personable customer service.
• Report any type of suspicious behavior to the office or notify the police, if necessary.
• Gate personnel will remain alert at all times, ensure that all vehicles entering the property are identified as residents or bonafide guests or vendors.
• Assist residents in emergency situations.
• Keep a log of all activities and provide the same daily to the Community Association Manager. See the Gate Manual for more details.
• Notify residents when guests arrive, issue guest parking passes, with dates and unit number clearly identified.
• Work as a team with the Concierge, Property Manager, Maintenance Team, Gate Supervisor, etc.
• Safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with RPM’s internal procedures and policies as well as all related employee handbooks and training/safety manuals.
