Job summary

Wider Circle in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Part-Time Community Engagement Lead to drive Connect For Life, a program connecting neighbors for better health. You will lead events, coordinate outreach, and foster relationships through in-person and virtual activities.

The role emphasizes trust-building, community leadership, and proactive engagement with members, including home visits and phone outreach. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach or facilitation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience coordinating events and engaging diverse community members.
• Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, building trust and coordinating events.
• Plan, host virtual and in-person events, and recruit attendees.
• Proactively contact members for participation and monthly engagement.
• Document member interactions and report through online systems.
• Identify natural leaders to become Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Reach out to prospective members and enroll them in programs.
• Serve as liaison connecting members to health plans and care services.
• Track hours, attendance, and engagement metrics; manage time effectively.
• Conduct in-home canvassing and community outreach as needed.
