Pinnacle Living is seeking a Cedarfield Kitchen Cook to support the resident dining program. You will prepare entrees, soups, vegetables, and salads following approved recipes for Independent Living, Assisted Living, Healthcare Services, and special functions.

Beyond cooking, you will help with batch prep, set up serving lines, maintain sanitation, and assist with food ordering. This role demands reliability, basic kitchen knowledge, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of food production experience preferred.
• No certification or licensure required.
• Fundamental knowledge of general kitchen operations.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepares all food items following recipes and production sheets.
• Maintains high standards of quality and portion control.
• Sets up serving lines per menus and procedures.
• Maintains proper food storage with dating and labeling.
• Reviews and follows menus with Chef/Sous Chef guidance.
• Oversees walk-ins, refrigerators, and freezers; manages leftovers.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in the food prep area.
• Assists with ordering food items for daily production.
• Washes and cleans utensils and equipment.
• Reports repair and maintenance needs to Manager.
• Aims to ensure resident satisfaction.
