Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a part-time Community Ambassador to help create a vibrant student living experience at Wilmington Commons Apartments in Wilmington, NC. The role focuses on resident engagement, leasing support, and community programming to drive satisfaction and retention.

You will cover office shifts, assist with events, and participate in on-call rotations. Applicants must be students, live on-site, and be available for training ahead of the academic year.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Must be enrolled as a student and meet academic requirements (12 undergrad credits or 6 grad hours; 2.5 GPA).
• Must live on-site in staff housing and be available before academic year starts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute resident engagement programs to enhance the resident experience.
• Build relationships with residents through one-on-one interactions and community involvement.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging community environment.
• Serve as a resource for residents regarding community services and local resources.
• Assist with leasing activities including tours, follow-ups, and housing events.
• Participate in outreach marketing at housing fairs and campus events.
• Promote the community through social engagement and peer networking.
• Cover office shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Support daily office functions and move-in/move-out processes.
• Engage in rotating on-call responsibilities and respond to concerns.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold brand standards.
• Perform other duties to support community success.
