Washtenaw Community College is seeking a part-time General Fund Student for the Public Relations & Communications Department. The role involves creating organic social media content and assisting with monitoring and reporting on social media activity.
The ideal candidate is enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, with strong skills in writing and social media. Evening and weekend availability is required, and additional responsibilities may be assigned.
The part‑time Public Relations & Communications Department – General Fund Student will assist team members in a variety of tasks. The candidate will gain analytical and critical thinking, writing and editing, teamwork and leadership, organic social media, and time management, collaboration, adaptability, research/analysis, initiative, receptiveness, and social media expertise.
This is a part‑time position that will have varying hours (not to exceed 20 hours per week) in evenings and weekends. Continuation of employment is reviewed at the end of each semester.
