Job summary

CBRE Government Services is seeking a GS Commercial Cleaner to perform basic cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal, ensuring daily cleanliness.

The role is part-time with shifts Thurs-Fri 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Sat-Sun 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety protocols, with opportunities to contribute to a well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move and rearrange furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Follow chemical safety and power equipment procedures.
• Complete standardized cleaning per company standards.
• Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.
• Follow established work routines and procedures.
• Use procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
