Job summary

Lake Forest College, located just north of Chicago, seeks a part-time Head Handball Coach to lead its lacrosse programs. The role requires significant on-campus presence, including evenings and weekends, reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Athletics.

You will organize scheduling, travel, roster management, budgeting, and academic monitoring, while actively recruiting student-athletes for both men’s and women’s teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required in a field related to athletics or higher education.
• 1–3 years of collegiate or professional athletic experience in lacrosse is preferred.
• Excellent time management and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Organize all facets of the program: scheduling, travel, roster management, budget reconciliation, practice planning, and academic monitoring.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes for both men’s and women’s lacrosse programs.
