Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Program Director for the Boston Police Co-Response team within Psychiatry. You will supervise master’s level clinicians, provide on-site assessments, and coordinate real-time consultation during program hours.

You will lead training efforts, partner with BPD, EMS, and community agencies, and guide policy development while ensuring compliant documentation and staff development.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling or a related field.
• Active Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC licensure by start date.
• Minimum five years of full-time supervisory experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual supervision to direct care staff.
• Facilitate monthly group supervision and real-time case consultation.
• Oversee staff scheduling and onboarding of new hires.
• Support trainings with BPD and external partners.
• Attend stakeholder meetings and coordinate with community agencies.
• Develop program policies and long-term growth plans.
• Ensure documentation and data collection compliance.
