Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Ability to measure, mark, and verify dimensions to guide machining.
• Set up and operate machines, select tools, adjust feeds/speeds, and monitor operations.
• Verify finished workpiece against specifications and ensure quality.
• Read and interpret process information and maintain safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and setup.
• Set up, measure, and verify dimensions during machining.
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders and NC machines and adjust as needed.
• Ensure conformance of finished parts to specifications and maintain a clean work area.
