Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Machine Operator (Fabrication) with CNC experience to operate and maintain our fabrication equipment.

You will monitor machine operation, load programs, handle materials, perform lens changes, clean the area and assist with maintenance. Candidates should read blueprints, troubleshoot, communicate well, and pass a pre-employment test and physical including drug screen.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems on the shop floor.
• Work well with others and communicate clearly.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Provide manufacturing experience and reliability in a fabrication setting.

Overview

Global Power Components is looking for machine operators with CNC experience to run and maintain our Cincinnati Laser.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the machine
• Load programs from job folders
• Load steel on to carts of machine
• Change out lenses
• Cleaning of the machine and area surrounding the machine
• Maintenance of machine

Requirements

• Computer literate
• Manufacturing experience
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Must be highly motivated
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Must pass competency test, and pre-employment physical including drug screen
