Job summary

CCBC is seeking an Adjunct Level 1 instructor to teach college credit and non-credit courses on a part-time basis. Day, evening, weekend sections are available, with lesson plans aligned to the Common Course Outline and evaluation methods to assess student performance.

The position requires a minimum of 5+ years in the machining field, with experience in milling machines, lathes, CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, GDT, CNC programming, or CAM software.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the machining field.
Experience with Milling Machines, Lathe, CNC Machining Centers, CNC Lathes, GDT, CNC Programming or CAM software.
Professional certifications such as Machinist Apprenticeship, NIMS or related degree are a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Instruct college credit and non-credit courses on a part-time basis.
Develop lesson plans to support the Common Course Outline.
Develop and administer evaluation methods, tests, quizzes, projects and final course performance.
Provide classroom management and delivery of instruction.
