Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience in CNC machining, CNC programming, or CAD/CAM.
• Proficiency in CAM software such as Fusion 360 CAM and SolidWorks CAM.
• Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC machine operations.
• Commitment to community college teaching and student success.
• CORI/SORI and background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for assigned CNC/CAM courses in accordance with NSCC and MCCC guidelines.
• Provide lecture and laboratory instruction in CNC machining, CAM programming, and CAD/CAM integration.
• Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with course outcomes.
• Demonstrate CNC setup, operation, and G-code programming fundamentals.
• Utilize Fusion 360 CAM and SolidWorks CAM in coursework.
• Evaluate and document student performance in a timely manner per college policies.
• Maintain scheduled office hours as required by the MCCC contract.
• Ensure a safe learning environment by enforcing lab safety policies and procedures.
