Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills including ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision and coordinate care.
• Prepare meals in line with clients’ dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in client condition.
• Complete tasks via EVV app or time sheet.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and follow care plans.
