Job summary

StoneRidge Senior Living Community in Mystic, CT seeks a Certified Nurses Aide for Avalon Health Center. Part-time roles include 16 hours/week 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 8 hours/week 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with weekend rotation. Starting pay $20.50-$24/hr plus shift/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Must complete a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with the Connecticut state registry is required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care provided to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

Schedule:

Starting Pay:
