Job summary

Eventide Prairie Commons Assisted Living in Grand Island, NE, is hiring a Part-Time Universal Worker I (CNA). The shift is 6a-2p with every other weekend and holiday rotation; ideal candidate is 16+, with a high school diploma or equivalent and CNA active in NE.

Duties include assisting with daily living activities and admissions/discharges as well as following care plans under supervision. The CNA will help address residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in line

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Active CNA in the state of NE required.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.

Responsibilities

• Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments and adjusts throughout shift to meet changing needs.
• Follows through on the care plan/service plan for each senior/client.
