Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
• Patient interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures per protocols.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Maintains quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Adaptable to changes with strong surgical patient care knowledge.
• Understands aseptic technique and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Stocking patients and dressing them.
• Assist patients to walk and to the bathroom.
• Respond to call lights and phones.
• Assist Med/Surg RNs as needed.
