Houston Physicians Hospital is seeking a Part Time CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our team. You will support patient care, perform routine duties, and assist nursing staff in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
• Patient interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures per established protocols.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection-control standards.
• Able to adapt to change quickly; strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understands aseptic technique and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and dressing patients.
• Assist patients to the bathroom and walk them.
• Answer call lights and phones.
• Assist Med/Surg RNs as needed.
